Soccer match between FK Čechie and Kralupy's hockey A-team had 7 goals! Hockey players look forward to boarding on the ice.

Preparation for new hockey season is near the end. For make a stronger team HK Kralupy organized soccer match against FK Čechie Kralupy that plays in soccer class IV. 

This special match was organized as teambuilding and main goal was making stronger team relationship in locker room and of course also on the ice. "Its good idea that can help us make a better team and make some different program in summer preparation for new season," head coach Dušan Sikela said, who really enjoyed the event.  

Hockey players really wanted to beat their soccer opponent. They played very active game and led 2-1 after first half. "We won first half and we really played very well," Sikela said. "But soccer opponent had better energy strategy and in next half had more power then we," he commented on the final defeat 3-4.

Head coach Dušan Sikela played as a goalkeeper in this match and he really enjoyed his new position. "I was scared about it," he said. "But after first goal scored against me I felt better and better and then everything was good and I really enjoyed it."

The hockey season preparation is finishing last week of June. Then hockey players will have 45 days of free time. Boarding on the ice is scheduled for 17th August. Dušan Sikela still doesn't know date of first preparatory game, but he knows the first opponent. "First we are playing against our junior team for easier start. Other opponents are in negotiations," he said and then revealed that next team in preparatory games can be Slaný, Mělník or Řisuty. 

About covid-19 pandemic restrictions head coach Sikela is optimistic. "I believe in playing in front of our fans and hope we will have sold out every game."
